Create
A resident or manager creates a pass in seconds for a specific guest, vendor, delivery, or contractor — no permanent gate code handed out, and no call to the office.
Limit
Each pass is locked to one gate and sponsor with an exact start time, expiration, and optional use limit, issued as a signed QR code or PIN that cannot be forged or quietly shared.
Send
The visitor gets the pass on their phone before they arrive — no app to download, and no hunting the resident directory at the call box.
Scan
At the gate the visitor scans the QR or types the PIN at the Angel Gates reader — a small scanner and keypad mounted at car-window height, beside (not replacing) the old DoorKing box.
Open
The Angel Gates edge controller (the hidden Pi brain in the cabinet) verifies the pass locally in under a second and pulses the gate open. It works even with no internet, and a wrong, expired, or revoked pass is denied and logged.
Review
Every attempt — allowed or denied — is written to a tamper-evident log with timestamp, credential, and sponsor, so any incident ties back to the exact gate event and camera clip.

Angel Gates can use the property's existing camera or NVR if it provides an approved stream, snapshot, or clip export. If the existing camera already sees the gate arm and vehicle area, Angel Gates can use that as the evidence source. The system packages the time, gate event, credential, sponsor, vehicle/tag reference, and camera clip into a manager-ready review email for damage, possible unauthorized entry, denied access, or other incidents.
